In July 2001 Davey marked a new era when it relocated to a new purpose built factory and operations centre in Scoresby, Victoria. The new $7m purpose built facility is located in the prestigious Caribbean Gardens Commercial Estate.

The facility has been designed to contain all operations under one roof, and streamline manufacturing procedures ensuring consistent high product quality and world class manufacturing efficiencies.

Davey exports to over 55 countries presently. The new facilities and Davey's commitment to developing new products and new markets will support further expansion each year.

Some of the new facilities Davey has incorporated into the Scoresby site include: An upgraded powder-coating facility with no less than five pre treatment processes ensuring that the colour coating on all Davey products will have maximum durability and protection against corrosion. A new short run assembly workshop and system-testing facilities to support Davey's growing commercial and irrigation products business. Here high capacity multiple pump booster systems and submersible borehole pumps are assembled and fully tested before delivery to customers.  World class customer service, warehousing and materials handling facilities to ensure local and international customers are serviced promptly and efficiently.
